Jolly himself has said he got three. 8 in 3. He will be coming back as league top scorer at this rate. Which will do nicely.

Great result on a day when other scores mostly went our way. The first half was fairly even, but Cray didn't look quite the side that drew at GGL in October. We stepped up a gear after half-time with Dundo bundling in the first after Page had hooked back in from a corner. Bradley came on as sub and rounded the keeper to roll in the second. If we beat Hornchurch on Tuesday we'll almost be back on track for a 90 point finish.

Sutton signed RJ to do just that, but it did not happen. Loaned out scores 8 in 3 games. todays match scored 3 but only played for 75 minutes. Wealdstone play in the same league so its not inferior opposition, so it can only be our style of play does not suit Richard, this I am sure can be resolved.

Well done to U's today. Poor footballing conditions with the wind heading into onr corne flag. Cray elected to kick with the wind in the first half & rarely threatened Scrivs goal. They had one real chance in the second half but U's were always comfortably in control, just requiring the goal(s) to take the deserved 3 pts. Cray, imo, were never in it but while it's 0-0, as in any other, game you never know.
Strong debut for Leroy playing on the left wing & a good peformances all over the park from the lads.
Have to say that the ref missed alot today, a number of late challenges by Cray players went totally unpunished & at times unnoticed. Danny P had three bites of the cherry before picking up a yellow & their left back may have not finished the first half on another day. He then goes and books BWG for I asume alleged time wasting. Very poor use of the cards today by the ref but then he's not the first to fail in the RLP at that this season & there have been worse performances from the man in black this season.
As for Jolls, who knows why he's suddenly found that form but to continue to lay the blame at the door of Sutton's play is a bit much? We're top of the league ffs & BWG has manged 11 in the league from the right wing. As said before he was loaned out to recapture his scoring touch & so far it's worked wonders for Wealdstone!
Still, with Hastings causing a shock at LT, we have to look closely at Tonbridge and Harrow must be strong contenders to be in the shake up with another hammering of Horsham. I am so glad we don't have to play them again.

The best thing about todays win was for the first time in a long time we played for 90mins - it was like a constant pace and attitude throughout, and didnt change even with subs. As AA said, Cray were disappointing today, relying a bit too much on fouls that ability, although they look quite useful, playing like they did today will struggle to see them get into the play offs. And certainly not rivals in the same way as Bury, Lowestoft and Tonbridge are.
I got the feeling it was only a matter of time before we would score, and Cray, although had a few chances, they were more half chances than anything and thats due mainly to our back 4 having possibly their best game this year. All 4 of them deserve credit for snuffing out what was Cray's strength - even Danny Phillips 'i'm going to play as 3 different numbers today' didn't wrong foot them.
At the other end, Leroy's debut was class. You can tell by what he showed today that he's a real addition to the squad, and when Mr Jolly returns, the thought of him, Bradley, dundo, forbes and J is bloody frightening in terms of our attacking options.
A good win dispatched well. AFCHx v Bury was no surprise, but no one could have expected Lowestoft to draw at home to Hastings, who have gone 18 games without a win now, 12 of those being defeats, but 2 of those draws out of 6 have been against Lowestoft. Tonbridge took their time getting a result at home to Aveley which was really the only result that didnt go our way.
Time to kick on to Tuesday - AFCHx, who are mid table form wise, but as we know can be difficult opponents to break down. A repeat of last seasons match - or saying that, the season before would do nicely. Knowing at the same time, our main rivals face the terrors, who could do us a favour. Tonbridge play a Concord side which you can never know what to expect!
I'm LOVING this season!

Apparently, 2 of Jolls goals today were from less than a foot out. Poaching at its extreme.

I thought the first 20mins or so were even but we steadily took control of the game creating by far the best chances with at least 2 clear cut chances both created by Leroy which should have seen us ahead at H/T. Cray were really reduced to fouling to break up play by then with the help of some very lenient refereeing and created nothing that had Kev to worried. The 2nd half saw us take complete control of the game, just a little tighter in midfield snuffed out any serious attacking threat from Cray. I think that 45mins is the best I have seen our midfield play all season and shows if you do deny space and time in midfield it works. It was looking to be a frustrating afternoon until Dundo bundled one over the line, we missed a fantastic chance to go 2 up before 'Sir' BWG calmed any nerves with a great run taking out the keeper to slot home. I thought Leroy looked class all afternoon, Dundo was just everywhere, BWG looks to have lost nothing after his little injury, but my MOTM goes to Tom Davis who I thought was part of our best midfield display of the season. My car computer, notched 2.06hrs total journey, avg speed 10mph, has to be the worst away trip per mile then any other this season, and to top it all £24 for 2 adults one child is also the most expensive Tuesday will be tough and Saturday even tougher but we have the quality. (Jolls plays to far right for us, you cannot paoch goals from the corner flag???)

According to the Lowstoft forum, forward Lee McGlone was involved in a car crash and has whip-lash injuries. I think it may have happened after the game today. Hope he's ok.

Sort of off topic, AJ played another 120 mins for the Ressies today and played very well at centre half, also scoring an excellent goal in a 4-1 win.

Not only did we get a great win today but put in a much improved performance. Credit to all the lads for managing the conditions betterthan Cray and limiting their scoring chances. We were well worth our 2-0 victory.I have to agree with Frakey the ref was very poor and let a lot of Cray tackles go unpunished. Well done boys keep up the good work!

£24 for two adults and a child seems about right. That would be £23 at Sutton!
That aside we were well worth the win today and Leroy looked very classy. Out of our MAIN two promotion rivals there was certainly a big shock at Lowestoft and maybe they are having their shaky period.

I would add that today was one of our most professional performances of the season so far. The longer the game went on, the stronger we became. All too much for the oppo this afternoon, despite the referee seeming content to merely over-lecture any Cray player for an indiscretion as opposed to waving a card at one of our own for similar infringements. (Both Cray full-backs were very lucky.)
On such days titles are won, my friends - and we are looking good.
