Doswell: Title race not over

Sutton United boss Paul Doswell says the Ryman Premier League title race is not over, despite his side moving eight points clear at the top of the table.
A Craig Dundas brace - including a goal of the season contender - and one from new boy Leroy Griffiths saw off AFC Hornchurch 3-0 at Gander Green Lane on Tuesday.
Doswell reckons his men need 30 more points from their last 14 games to be certain of promotion - starting with three from Saturday's clash with Lowestoft Town.
And he says that task alone means work remains.
"I wouldn’t say it is ours to lose just yet. Our next three games are as difficult as our last two if I’m honest,” he said.
“There is still a third of the season to go and a lot of points to play for. I would say Tonbridge, Lowestoft and even Harrow are a threat.
“To get there we need to win ten of our last 14 games, so when you put it like that you realise what a difficult task we still have ahead of us.”
Dundas and Bradley Woods-Garness secured a 2-0 win at Cray Wanderers on Saturday before United made it four wins in a row 72 hours later - scoring 12 goals and conceding one in the process.
And Doswell reckons the addition of former Gillingham striker Griffiths and the imminent return of Richard Jolly from a prolific loan spell at Wealdstone leaves his men in a very string position.
“A lot of times this season we’ve been short of quality on the bench and we wanted to make sure that wasn’t the case in the run-in,” he added.
“The decision to send Richard out on loan has worked in everyone’s favour and he is going to come back with that confidence now.
“With Alan Bray coming back into the frame it is comforting to look at the subs and see probably three players who should be in the starting 11.”
Sutton host Lowestoft on Saturday knowing a win will put them in a strong position.
The manager said: “It is the biggest game of the day and the biggest game of our season so far. I would urge anyone with an affection for Sutton to come out and give us as much support as they can.”
Sutton’s next three games: Feb 12 Lowestoft Town (h), 16 Hendon (a), 19 Tonbridge Angels (a).
