Great idea, but the SUFC bans on drink, noise, drums, flares, flags and banter might put them off!

Great idea, but the SUFC bans on drink, noise, drums, flares, flags and banter might put them off! Nah it would just cause them to sign up to a forum and moan about it. ;-)

We need to target the main group of football fans, it is great trying to attract more female and young people (and the hardwork should be applauded), but why not go after the main demographic?
How do we attract more fans of Premier League down, fans who can't afford to go and watch Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs etc?
Beer and a Burger deal? Cheap drink prices? Mates rates on entry? 2 for £15, 1 £5 entry with every season ticket holder?
Next season with season ticket renewals send out vouchers for cheaper or free entry for a number of games.

I am a member of Surrey CCC and we get 12 vouchers that can be redeemed to bring a m8 for free for one day's play in the County Championship. I know cricket does not appeal to many but at least it gets more bodies through the gate who will then pay their extortionate price for beer and burgers.

i like the idea of half price entry with a ST holder. That would certainly encourage the Other Half to come down more often!

Well the club needs to keep trying things. At the moment the numbers coming through based on where we are in the league are really poor. I'm not blaming anyone, perhaps it's all part of people being cash strapped at the moment, but getting new blood through the door is vital to the club long term. The kids for a quid thing is a good start.
