We got our tickets via the membership office, after my mate rang the booking line for about an hour!

Thought some of you would like an update re Sutton CC cricket season. The 1st XI survived in the Premier Division (Cheam and Ashtead were relegated). The 2nd XI were Div 1 champions and return to their Premier Division. The 3rd XI were Div 1 champions and return to their Premier Division. The 4th XI were runners up in Div 2 of the Surrey Cricket league and were promoted to Division 1. The 5th XI were relegated from the 4th XI Premier Division and look set to play in the Central Division in 2012 (against other clubs 4th XI's). We hosted the Bertie Joel Cup Final yesterday where Cambridge Granta beat Basingstoke & North Hants by 5 wkts. I would have liked to have seen that game but didn't know about it ! It's probably too late for this season but could you please let us know in this thread of any games being played round there ? I managed to get to most of Sutton's home games but don't get to hear of any extras.Thanks. I will try to let you know. Or try www.suttoncricketclub.com/

A great day ! They've really turned it round since the Canterbury debacle. Ojha has been superb , but they have all chipped in.

How did that happen? Did Middx mess up? Northants looked like winning by an innings.

Miidx should still win and go up as champions, Northants began these matches one point ahead of Surrey but only picked up three batting bonus points whereas Surrey collected all five

Counties with Test Match grounds should always do better than others. I should know The Foxes are bottom of the 2nd division after having won their first game then proceeded to lose most of the rest. I expect James Taylor to be cherry picked in the winter by Warwickshire.
