What's going on here?
The Non-League Paper published a report attributed to Stuart Mitchell. Non-League Today carried a report with the by-line Stuart Marshall.
Could Messrs Mitchell and Marshall be one and the same person? I rather think they could!
Consider this extract from Mr Mitchell's report:
Billy Clark headed wide from a tight angle and Marc McGregor, set up by Ashan Holgate saw his shot saved.
Mr Marshall wrote:
Billy Clark headed narrowly wide from a tight angle and Marc McGregor, set up by Ashan Holgate saw his swerving shot saved.
And both describe Weston's third goal thus: "[Smith] neatly turned his marker before firing under the despairing drive of Wilson".
But the two of them don't agree on everything. Mitchell wrote:
Craig Watkins amost saw his cheeky back-heel go in, but that was it.
While according to Marshall:
McBean saw his effort blocked, the resulting attempt landing at the feet of Craig Tanner, and his cheeky backheel cannoned off the legs of McDonnell.
I think the more concise Mitchell might have been the more accurate there!

"Narrowly wide"? As in "a miss is as good as a mile"?

I know what he meant, but it looks a bit funny put like that!
