Boring game really, ref was poor, their keeper saved a penalty. =[

Not the greatest of games or performances with lost the plot once RP and RG went off, quite what Dorc were playing at not coming out for the second half for 10 mins I am not sure. YES we got a Penalty and Matt missed it so I am not counting anymore, not a good pen and not Matts greatest game. In the end a point was probably fair although that midfield went AWAL again in the 2nd half, Dorc Bossed the middle the entire half.
Ref was a complete arse, the worst challenge on Ross went totally unpunished yet we had 2 booked for nothing.

Having Taiwo drop into right back to cover for Patsy did for us I think. As once he left midfield, we really struggled.
We suddenly look very 'blunt' up front again as an attacking force. I hope we liven up again soon.

Think it was tactical by Haze to drop Sol to right-back - he wanted to have a look at him, and change the tempo up front (more attacking options with three up front). Sol, for me, isn't a full-back, but at least the manager isn't afraid to try something to look for points. Admit we looked a little blunt up front - not incisive. But 0-0 was sadly a fair result for the second successive game.

Absolutely awful game. One of my Dorchester acquaintances came up to the "wrong end" to chat to us, and almost immediately we were given that penalty. We pointed out that Matt almost never misses penalties, and Dorchester said their keeper never saved them! I then predicted that it would be saved just to be contrary. Damn  (Oh yeah, admin- having set up a forum like this myself, can I take this opportunity to point out that you might like to have a look at the swear filter- it even censors ridiculous words like "d amn." I added "carsh*ton to mine ;D) |
