I thought the front 3 were too similar in style. They were all looking to turn and take on defenders and very rarely looking to pass the ball to each other. You need to have a "greedy" striker, as they create things that others don't, but three is too many! I'd also prefer a front 2 with a proper midfielder - at times we were reduced to Honey (my Sutton MotM) and TQ versus Fisher's 4 man mid-field. Did you notice that RH only had one chance for a long throw? Very weird to only have one throw in in the final third over such a long period. Finally, the sh*t or bust tactics at the end, throwing all sorts of players forward just didn't work and meant that any half-clearance from the Fisher back row was picked up by their mid-field with plenty of space to exploit, with the result that we had less of the ball than when playing a normal formation.

Thanks Andy for the note with regard to Jason,he is a livewire and hopefully is one for next season, nice to see Blackwell started although he is going to need more games, hopefully a couple more from the ressies will get a chance before the end of the season, but all in all we are mid table and there is plenty of positives for next season.

The difference yesterday was that Fish hit the target with their chances & we didn't. The 'keeper only had one save to make in the second half (from Warren) & for all the promise in build up the last ball was often the wrong one or not good enough.
Entertaining match though but I'm beginning to wonder if we will get another point this season. The next two home games are against teams chasing a play-off place, Thurrock still may need points to stay up & Histon will probably be champions when we go there. Let's hope they take the foot of the gas.
My prediction of not finishing in the top half a couple of weeks ago is beginning to look a good one unfortunately. It's odd, but we may finish with less points than last season but we have a better team & have produced alot more consistency. We just don't get the results!!
