2-1 win tonight v Eastleigh. Only saw second half. eastleigh got an iffy penalty, given by linesman when referee had said no to handball.Sutton levelled from the spot and won with a Greg Andrew(?) volley. Great strike. Sutton v Hayes in final at Imber Court!  |

Congratulations to Phil and Jamie,as you say Lyall another final and just about deserved,as I think we edged it on the night,but Eastleigh had a go and made us work hard.They took the lead when the lino flagged for hand ball against Bradley Duke,although the ref who was only yards away was going to give nothing,but we fought back and equalised through a Sam Clayton penalty,and what a way to win it with Greg Andrews volley,we almost snatched another when Bradley Dukes header was cleared off the line.As you rightly say we now take on Hayes in what should be a good final at Ember Court on Tuesday the 1st of May.Team:- Maan,Adams,McKay,Duke,Horne,Drew,Andrews,Clayton,Weber-Macartney,Douglas,Stevens.Subs:-O Adams,Graham,Bakaye,Cuff.

Their penalty was debatable... but rather than bemoan the fact we pushed on. And got a slightly dubious penalty ourselves when Sam was brought down before converting the spot-kick himself.
A decent performance, which improved once they'd gone ahead.
And of course, well done to Richard, Jason (and AJ still) for their first team efforts. Nice also to see Mr Blackwell come straight back from the Fisher game to watch the reserves.
