...thanks to Thurrock winning tonight.
What are we going to do about this? Seriously.
I'm not a happy bunny.

5-0 ft. Stalebuns had their keeper sent off I think.
Still a bloody disaster for us though.....

Well at least we can't drop anymore now, its a sad day for the club after so much hope at the start of the season. I can't help think that when we have to loan players just dissapear and no statement to tell us the fans about it, its wrong of the mangement to keep us in the dark. I feel we ought to get behind them but also that Haze and Massey should be talking more!

Yes, the only way is up! At least until 3 May. I think it's fairly clear that the squad we have at the moment is weaker than the one we had for most of last season. And then we only finished 14th. So, unless we strengthen the squad, we're going to stay in or around the relegation zone. We'll all have our own ideas about the players we need. I'd suggest a big centre forward to take some of the pressure off Warren, a wide midfielder who can put in some decent crosses, and an experienced defender. I'm not saying the right players are easy to come by, but we can all see what the alternative is.

At the risk of being attacked - how long do you think our manager has?
Until a cup disaster?

It is a disaster, but it's not as though we haven't been in this position before in recent years :-( . Things have got to change and fast!

Would suspect he will have a while yet. 1 thing you can say about Sutton is that the managers are always given the opportunity to turn things round.
I am unfortunately in the 'Lewis is a liability' camp at the moment and feel that he is not worthy of a starting place until he is sorted. Don't think AJ is the answer though. Sorry.
Interesting to see a change of keepers last night. Was this down to performances. Shows (not for the first time) that Haze will change things if not happy. Thought Gareth did all right in goal as well

Its one thing to turn things around another to turn them pear shaped.
At the momment I give him the vote of confidence

I think he needs to sit down and work out our best team is and stick with it for a good few games, sod the results. All the chopping and changing is not helping and just makes it look like he is panicking.
Also, if he can, get a proper right sided player and either get a lump or get the team playing balls forward that actually help out our smaller strikers and not hinder them.
Oh yeah, and none of that sitting back on a lead bollocks and maybe some chasing up of loose balls, we are ALWAYS second to the ball.

I think Lewis did OK and looked one of the better defenders on show, AJ I am afraid has no positional sense what so ever to easy to get a run at him. Also think we had our best passage of play against Bromley when we started to chase the ball down, do not let the oppos settle.

Mr. Scallywag, from what I heard Gareth was between the sticks because Phil was injured (groin strain?)

OK this may be a little different but there is a potential lesson to be learnt.
Euro 2004. Greece were winners with possibly one of the weakest squads in the tournament. The manager worked out what strengths they had and played to them, and built up a big team spirit. I can't believe we have the weakest squad in the division, we have a lot of players more than up to BSS standard.

At the start of the season, bookmakers were giving odds against the promotion and relegation candidates!! Sutton were I think 3rd favourite for relegation spot. Did they know something we didn't? The odds I thought were quiite harsh , being a biased supporter. I was hopeful that this season was was the turn around for better things.. Looking at the accounts last year showed a paper or real loss. The thing that strikes you is the fall in gate receipts, brought about by no cup runs, especially in the FA cup. I am hopeful that this year with a home draw against a team that on paper that is a couple of divisions below us we can reverse our league form and kickstart our season, after all its mid september!!
