Fancy myself as a scout so here goes...
Corinthian Casuals 0-2 Walton and Hersham (Ryman division 1 south)
Recommended player: Dan Dean (Walton Centre-back)
Dan Dean had a very solid game for Walton in their 2 goal victory over Corinthian, a side 5 places above them in the league. He headed anything that came at him and won most of the balls on the ground as well. An easy choice for man of the match in my opinion.
I will post more reports of players I discover on games when I cannot see Sutton play

My Dad plays football on a Wednesday night with somebody called Juan Kermode. Juan is 18 years old and is currently playing for Ewell town. He has recently taken part in a trial for Accrington Stanley and was invited back for another week but he couldn't afford the hotel fee. I was just wandering if our scouts could take a closer look at him as apparently he is a great player and future prospect

I've been to two games not involving Sutton so far this season. Raynes Park Vale vs East Grinstead (2-1 to Park Vale) and Guildford City vs Kingstonian (3-0 to the scum.)
I can't say I saw any players good enough to play for Sutton in the Guildford game; in fact I do believe it was the worst game I've ever seen in terms of quality. However East Grinstead's number 10 was a very skillful player who scored their only goal. I don't know what he was called but he would be my man of the match over both games

I was at South Park v Walton & Hersham yesterday - that really was a shocker! In the 2nd half there was a foul every 40/50 seconds. Awful match to watch (or ref!).

Found a potential star at Epsom's game against Bedfont in Kyle Hough. No doubt in my mind he's way too good for Combined Counties

I liked the Guernsey keeper Hamon (3rd choice as he is considering a career in golf). Has trialled at Southampton but I guess the U's manager will already be aware of him! ;D |
