I hope Hazel doesn't believe the title of the Guardian article.

It also suggests the article is written by Tony Dolbear. But it really doesn't seem like a piece written by our press sec. There are more spelling mistakes and poor use of language than your average home programme and the comments are clearly sensationalised for use in selling 'copy'...

I hope IH does not bring a few players then get the chop because the new manager will want his own players

No definite news, but we are still hoping to add some more new faces and I know talks are planned for tomorrow. Another 7-day approach has also gone in.

JR ( remember him) would always say, no point in signing players unless they are an improvement what you already have. I know there are cynics out there who would say thats not difficult, after recent performances. Lets hope IH and SM can unearth a few gems to add a little spakle to the side. Saturday must be 3 points against WSM, otherwise we may find ourselves adrift at the bottom. To quote a voice from the stand c'mon you U's......

It also suggests the article is written by Tony Dolbear.... Perhaps it was written by the person who wrote our match report in last Sunday's NLP - a certain, er, "Tarquin Nordbach", if I remember correctly ?

Well it certainly wasn't written by me, and the Guardian has been reminded of the fact. Neither is Tarquin Nordbach my newly acquired pen name - I wasn't at Saturday's game so the NLP sent a staff reporter (as they are increasingly doing even if I am there as we're fairly local to them).
