It will be very interesting to see the squad for tonights game, whether there will be any major changes, and the teams attitude.

How much can it change ?
Stuart can obviously change the shape and balance of the side for tonight as he wishes within the scope of the current squad but anthing other than that would obviously be a matter for whoever the manager turns out to be.

I would never suggest that we should deliberately lose a match, but I can't help but feel we have slightly more important priorities at the moment. A run in this competition (I know it's unlikely) would be an unwelcome distraction in my view.

It's certainly more important than the Setanta Shield.

A sentence of 6 words where I obviously got tonights competition wrong and the wrong day at the weekend.
At least I spelt Lewes right.

A run in this competition (I know it's unlikely) would be an unwelcome distraction in my view. I disagree, if only for the purposes of tonight's game (if it gets played of course!). A win tonight against Blue Square South opposition can only boost our confidence. Whilst this competiton is arguably our lowest priority this season at the moment any win is important.

What lower than the Surrrey Senior Cup? I would have thought progressing here could eventually bring TV coverage and premier opposition.

I prefer the SSC just because if we progress to the final we'll more likely than not pay a local rival.

And in the SSC, the Surrey FA end up with all the money...
