I wouldn't go as far as saying we "played well"....better is probably a more accurate statement.
Positives.....passed the ball around better, created a few clear cut chances, put the opposition defence under pressure more, there was a bit more fight to us.
Negatives.....back four was shakey to say the least, we're not shooting enough
The 4-5-1 starting line-up was: Wilson Hudson Scarborough Gonsalves Bray Henry Alimi Goodchild Quinton Watkins McBean We shifted more to a 4-3-3 in the second half with Lewis coming off, Hudson shifting to centre-back, Goodchild moving to right-back, and Nicky Green coming into central midfield

I like AJ but his positional sense is not good, I am sure that does not help the back 4?
Is it just me or is Greene worth a start?
Finally same old nag. we need an out and out striker Mcbean is not it?

Compared to saturday, it was a big improvement!
Had spells where we managed to keep the ball fairly well. Competed a bit more & created some chances. But as Gareth said, defensively, we were still very poor.
I think had they been really trying\had their best forwards available, we'd have been dead & buried by HT. But, some positives were Jason Goodchild did well (better at RB than CM), Watkins is I think getting back towards the form we know he can produce & Hammond put a few of decent crosses in from the right.
It's going to take an immmense effort to get anything from Lewes on sunday, but we've got to start somewhere I s'pose.

Definitely an improved performance, with the team playing with more panache than we've seen lately. Bromley just about deserved the win, but there wasn't a great deal between the two sides.
Massey put his own stamp on the team, with Phil Wilson back in goal, and Jason Henry and Craig Watkins starting in wide positions pushing forward to support Warren McBean.
We went behind just before half-time (the goal scored by the other Gareth Williams!), but looked more threatening when Nicky Greene came on for (I think) Gonsalves. Craig Watkins equalised with a fierce deflected shot, but we we were a little stretched at the back, and Scarborough again looked vulnerable when covering the right side of defence. It was from that wing that Wood's speculative shot bobbled off Phil and into the net.
Oh well. We didn't really want a run in the Setanta Shield did we? And the performance should have restored some confidence.

Apparently, nor did Bromley, but they could hardly not win last night, given our defending. Admittedly we were better than last Saturday, but how could we have been any worse ! We don't look capable of scoring more than a couple of goals in a game, as proven our results so far, and that i'm afraid, is patently not good enough to survive. As much as i hate to say it we're doomed.

Rome wasn't built in a day!! Although that was the builder's original estimate.
