No harm getting this on the forum early. Maybe we can generate some interest.
There are a number of ex Sutton players in their side. One of which is Jerson Dos Santos. I had high hopes for him when he was at Sutton. Dean Palmer, Bentley Graham and manager Steve Griffin were also at Sutton in recent years.
Admission prices for this game are as follows:
Adults £8 Concessions £4 Under 16’s £1

They will need to defend better than they did against Redhill in the FA CUP this season.

Dos did say he would give one or two of the reserve players a game tonight, I can understand why after reading the post match comments on the Eastleigh forum Eastleigh played them on Saturday and lost 3-0. Photos and post match views here: www.eastleigh-fc.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6873

With temperatures dropping to below freezing before kick off, is Mr F right that the match could be postponed? If you are planning to go to the game, keep your eyes on our twitter account as this will be able to give the latest news twitter.com/suttonunited

There will be a pitch inspection about 16.00. The pitch was white this morning but at about 10.00 it was described as playable. Obviously if the temperature goes door as predicted the game will be off.

Obviously if the temperature goes door as predicted the game will be off. If we can trust the BBC weather report we should be ok tonight The temperature is not expected to dip below freezing until 10pm. www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2636503

My earlier post may have been slightly premature. There may be an unofficial inspection at 16.00 which will decide if a proper inspection is needed. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Billy Dunn banned Sine Die - I think that means forever - according to the Leafe site Two questions - what did he do? And who was the last former Sutton player to be banned for life?

Not "forever" but indefinitely - until such time as he faces an FA Commission. Don't know what he did, he wasn't at Whyteleafe at the time and one can only wonder why we spent £1.50 signing a player with a sine die ban.
I believe another former Sutton player with a permanent ban (it is permanent as he retired without having a ban lifted) is Darren Anderson. This time he was a Whyteleafe player when he attracted a ban. Over 12 years ago or so I should think?

So do we know if a pitch inspection is due? I have to leave for Sutton in the next hour so any hints?
