On last nights display I'd say it's just as bloody well we can't win the league.

Rather glad I missed last night, no not really. Both teams must have used up their allocation of goals in the away match!

Oh i had to endure Grays v Rushden and it was dire. Grays played ok in the 2nd half but Rushden were one of the worst sides I have seen this season oh and somehow I'd forgotten what a dump Grays is!!

We've got quite a tough run-in. I reckon we'll do well to finish any higher than 11th. But 11th would still be an improvement on the last two seasons.

The management and players have stressed the aim to finish as high as possible. Beating last season's finish will be proof that we've improved. Hard to disagree and I think the latter stages of this season are certainly building expectation for a much more exciting (possibly play-off challenging) 2007/08. I'd settle for mid-table and a long cup run next year.

Oh thank goodness, I saw the thread title and thought someone had died! I'm not hugely keen on us winning the league anyway. There's no way we're ready for the next level. Gareth, did you work out the highest we can finish?

I dragged my mate to the game and he left saying it was the most dire game he's ever seen! I say dragged, he's kind of a new fan who at the start of the year decided to be more spontaneous so when I said about watching the U's one day he said yeah... now he's slightly addicted!

Oi! You were not "dragged." You came because your team were at Salisbury and you didn't have enough money and wanted football! Bloomin' Hayes fans, I mean REALLY
