When Duke goes up to lift the Surrey Senior Cup. We'll be there, we'll be there!

Their under 18's? Really? How am I expected to annoy the Wimbledon fans at my school if they only put out their under 18's? I can barely be bothered to do a podcast for the game.

We last won the SSC ten years ago next month, beating K-scum 2-1. You can read a bit about that match in the programme for the Billericay game.

According to the AFC Wimbledon website, it appears that their team next week will be their under 18 team. Don't blame them. I know Messrs Duke and Rax will probably disagree, but football league survival takes more priority for them. Tough away fixture at Exeter, who are in the play off positions 2 days afterwards

Nope the reserve side was disbanded last year to save costs. Hence the likes of Mr Turner and some other fringe AFC players ended up at Staines with their last reserve team manager Marcus Gayle.

I'm struggling to get my work shift changed so I can make the game... any danger of the club playing the game another day so I can definitely come.

It's the Consolation Cup - something you go for when there's nothing better!

When most clubs lose money playing these fixtures, especially in the early rounds, it's not hard to see why not!

We can only assume that Duke is firing himself up in the nerve centre at Gandermonium HQ ready to launch a two-footed counter-attack on this negativity towards the SSC....quite right 'n all

Crowds were never published then however I would think most games would attract around 1000+ so no problem with finances Players were not paid then they just had generous expenses ;D

and often the London Charity Cup (which was the route into the London Challenge Cup) and South Thames Cup. SSC ties were played on Saturdays and the gates were not significantly different to league games.
