There's also the issue of away tean travel. With the current forecaast for the south west truro would need to leave now. I would expect it to be pulled by tonorrow lunchtime when the snow is due to hit the frozen pitch.

That's true, it's not only the Clubs that make the decision to travel though, I was reading on Football Web Pages yesterday that Wroxham might be thrown out of the Ryman League Cup as the Coach Company they use were not prepared to make the journey to Concord Rangers on Tuesday night, after police and county council advice re unsafe driving conditions !

It's all very frustrating, if the match had been yesterday evening then the match would probably have been played as the pitch was not frozen.

We should at least be grateful that the Wrexham and Casuals matches were played. We now know that we've got a maximum of two Cup games to fit in before the end of the league season. Then again, it's the second half of January and we've still not (quite) played half of our league fixtures.

Not sure it will really count as a pitch inspection later. I'm sure Truro have been long told the game will not be going ahead unofficially, this is just to make it official.

For those who like "trivia" Kenneth Wolstenholme whose voice is the commentator, lived in Worcester Park ! He lived the next road up from me in Ewell Village for many years too. Always saw him in the phone box at the top of the road by Glyn School.

Games at Tonbridge and Dover have been called off.
Talking of Dover, they've announced this:
"Following an emergency board meeting this lunchtime, Dover Athletic have placed Manager Nicky Forster on gardening leave. The club expects to make further announcements about this over the course of the weekend." - Not surprising bearing in mind their recent slump in form.
