Anyone else hear Telfs playing the sausage sandwich game on Danny Baker's Radio 5 show this morning? Said we had a tough away game this afternoon, but we've been on a good run and are confident. He chose red sauce by the way.

I heard it (sadly, the sausage sandwich game is how I like to start a Saturday morning).
Maybe some of our players had a few sarnies too many today as we got the tough game forecast.
Good to hear some mention of the club on the radio though and I agree with his choice of sauce!

It is basically the godlike Danny Baker inviting a sporting celeb onto his show to answer three questions and two listeners try to anticipate the answers.
The third question is always "what sauce would you have on your sausage sandwich? Red, brown or no sauce at all?"
Best show on the radio in my opinion.

I hate it when people say red sauce when they mean tomato ketchup. If they asked for red sauce in my house they'd get strawberry topping ;D

Flicking through 'A Tale of Two Uniteds' earlier and read a passge on John Faulkner - on his return from playing in America he became youth team manager at Luton and coached, amongst others, "promising youngsters John Hartson and Paul Telfer"!
