After having to change our plans twice because of the Hayes and Yeading game being re-arranged on two occasions, we settled on tonight for our residents' game despite, or perhaps because of, the alternative attraction on tv.
Last year we saw that fantastic 5-0 performance against Salisbury and this year's Residents' Day brought an even more dramatic game: 7 goals, fight-backs from both sides, a penalty saved and a dramatic late winner. Anyone who had never been before will think it's always like that, but hopefully the 65 neighbours who were tempted away from the Man U game will want to come back.

Good return, let's hope we see a few of them back. Well done all.

I understand from footywebpages that our 442 was the best BBS att of the night. 406 at Havant but most others down in the 200's.

All the BSBS clubs at home last night had attendances well below their averages. Some (including Salisbury) were over 200 down. The only ones to be less than 100 down were Sutton and Maidenhead (who were playing Dover). So, relatively speaking, we did pretty well.
