Yeah sorry about that. I slipped and I am a dodgy centre-back!

I make it 1 goal scored in the last 6 away games.

All down to poor delivery & decisions in the box today Billy. We could and should have won easily.Very frustrating to watch.

The two positives from today were (1) we got the game out of the way and (2) we didn't lose.
Kingfield was probably the worst pitch we've played on this season and we duly came away with our first 0-0 in a league match. We had more of the play but H&Y had the clearer chances. We saw a lot of shots blocked in the area, but I agree with MarkF that (as at Havant) our delivery from wide positions was consistently poor. Too many balls went straight to the home keeper.
With Farnborough winning we slip one place to 11th. We now have just five away games left in the league - and so our final position will depend mainly on how we do in the eight remaining home fixtures.

I see that Tom Jordon wasn't in the match day squad and was only sub for the previous match. Has he been dropped, injured, or something else?

Jordan was on the bench today and, as on Tuesday, was brought on late in the game as an improvised forward. Unlike on Tuesday, he wasn't able to get an assist for a late Sutton winner.

On a surface like that one today, only the most optimistic could have hoped for a free flowing game.
I thought we were certainly strongest in midfield today where most of the possession and action happened. Agree with Frakey and AA that our deliveries into the box were on the whole poor today (and that includes freekicks and corners). Dundo was great again today, and so was Harry B for 60mins, after which I thought he tired. I think Dean Sinclair deserves a mention today, who I thought had a good game.
I was really worried in the first half that we were about to lose Downer to injury, but amazingly he kept going for the whole game.
Not a disaster by any means, but we to be more clinical up front. Marvin hasn't scored in 5 games and Harry O in 6. But I thought Hayes had a well drilled defence and certainly their strongest part of their side, their No5, Cadmore, had an especially good game.

The pitch really was bad:

Woking must be fuming! The facilities were a disgrace notwithstanding the state of the pitch - It used to be such a nice ground to visit.
Only 233 there for the game dominated by U's but conditions beat us time and time again. They had only 2 strikes on goal and 0 corners. Just as well our faithful band turned up otherwise only one man and his dog would have watched and exciting if not frustrating encounter.
From where do they get these referees?

I know Hayes are ground sharing but jeez players at this level having to jump over barriers to collect the ball has gotta be a wrong un. Not a single person stationed on the far side of the ground? As for nobby no mates with the entire new stand to himself....I hope someone bought him a pint in the bar after or he really will feel like footballs Robinson Crusoe.

To all Sutton fans, if you had read the NLP I think, I made a mistake with missing out one of your subs.. I apologise these things happen!

Apparantly Woking insist on extra stewards if the whole ground is opened.Considering they are paying £40000 to ground share it seems a bit onerous. They need to get out of there asap.
