Good initial podcast. That is actually quite depressing when someone else sums up our current situation Wish I never watched that now lol But in all seriousness this should be a good game which will either be a struggling win for us or a convincing win for you guys. See you lot tomorrow in the Snooker Club (the Cardinals Bar is tosh!) next to the ground! NB: N'Daiye was released a few days ago for being a complete donkey so you've got no threats from him. Also 250 predicted attendance?! Does that mean you're going to bring up to 150 fans with you??

Hi Stephen, we do normally have a large away support, and being that Woking is fairly close, some who don't make the longer trips might be tempted to come along.................the only thing that's worrying me at the mo is the amount of rain we've had today, I see that the Dartford v Wrexham game scheduled for tonight was called off this afternoon because of a waterlogged pitch !

........I suppose the training this week would have been centred around our defensive problems 6 goals conceded in the last two games. No going walkabouts, or falling asleep, please, this is a game we can win.

H&Y will be something of an unknown quantity to most of us, as we haven't played them since the 07/08 season. Their 'home' record at Woking is quite respectable, but I reckon we need at least a point from this game to keep in touching distance of fifth place.
The weather has dried up since yesterday and the match doesn't seem to be in any doubt.

Am I reading this right? H&Y play at Woking's ground now?

Am I reading this right? H&Y play at Woking's ground now? For the moment yeah. Hayes ground has been demolished, and Yeading's ground is being redeveloped but not ready yet! So Kingfield it is!

a 0-0 draw. nice to get a clean sheet and not a bad result. however, 6 points from our next two home games is a must.

We had lots of the game just could not find away through their defence. Dundas had another good game. We lost our way once he dropped deep. I don't recal Hayes having one corner! However they did have one or two chances. Overall two points dropped today.

You were never going to get much of a game on that dire surface. Cut up early and just got worse with some areas almost unplayable by the end. Woking must be delighted we ploughed it up for them. A set piece or route one was always going to be best bet but some of our delivery was a bit iffy and trying to get a passing game going was futility itself. Still. An away point in the BSS is a good point as the boss always says and a good turn out from our lot again. On the catering front, worst slipper so far this season. I know it was pre cooked but it tasted like it had last been flipped a week ago. Even totter junior wouldn't eat so I finished it off and on the theory of what goes around comes around I suspect I was being reaquainted with a runner that cost me dear at Cheltenham last year. Onwards

The pitch really didn't help, as I found out when I went on to do some filming and slipped over, all captured on camera of course! We were much the better team but never really had any decent chances

How to boss a game but not trouble the home 'keeper, the result a 0-0 draw. The home side was distinctly lacking in ambition going forward but having said that produced the only two worthwhile shots on goal, or at least any that tested either 'keeper. It was hard toil today & christ knows what Woking will make of their once pristine surface, swathes of it were fast becoming a throwback to the Base Ball Gound in the 1970's? Still, we did play football, passing and moving well & Dundo was superb once more.
Main disappointment was our delivery of the ball from wide areas and set pieces today, although I suspect keeping the standing foot rooted on a sound platform was nigh on impossibe.
Still, after last week at Havant, the boys have bounced back well with 4 points from 6 and an away clean sheet.

Although a away point is never to be sniffed at, as said above the home side showed little or no ambition choosing to run down the clock at every opportunity. I am really not sure if that pitch was playable and it certainly impacted the game probably provided H&Y best chance of stealing something?
Again as said above our delivery was poor and we didn't test the home keeper in the 2nd half at all despite most of the possession. We did get behind them numerous times but the ball into the box was never really good enough. I think Dos left it too late to bring Tom on as his height and power looked what we needed in front of goal?
On a very difficult pitch we defended much better and picked up our first away clean sheet since New Years day. Dundo worked hard all afternoon but mostly on trying to make something out of nothing for himself, HarryB had a better 1st half then 2nd but we lacked that bit in front of goal.
I didn't think much of the ref though he got a lot of decisions wrong, Dean's challenge to me looked controlled fair and took the ball. The worst aspect of the day on the pitch was the H&Y no8 cheating, he didn't react to the challenge, then rolled around upon the whistle and then decided to get up and try and hit Deano, I would have given him a straight red?
