Stewart: I may well have missed something, but I could only see the voucher offer applying to Farnborough's game v Billericay. If Sutton need an extra incentive to get something from this match, it's that we've got into mid April without any side completing a league 'double' over us. Farnborough have the opportunity to do that tomorrow (as will Salisbury and Bath during the next two weeks). Their loanee keeper Ross Worner had a lot to do with the clean sheet they kept at GGL last month. But he won't be between the sticks at Cherrywood Road tomorrow.

Confirmed on Farnborough web-site that they won't have a recognised goalkeeper for Saturday's game.

I hope their pitch can take water. It chucked it down this afternoon & is due to do so again tomorrow. Another postponement?

Phil Page has not been there most of the season, he is banging in goals left right and centre for Mole Valley SCR in the CCD1...

Please note that the vouchers for today's game at Farnborough ARE ONLY VALID FROM THE NEWSPAPER, you can't print them on-line. So, if you want to take advantage of the deal, you need to buy a paper.

By my calculations that puts us 5 points off of a play-off spot, with 4 games remaining.

You cannot underestimate just what a fine battling performance this was from our lads. Any team that wins four games in eight days deserves maximum respect and that is what the sutton boys have achieved. The last thing you want after a run of games like we've had is a heavy and deteriorating pitch but that's what we had to contend with today. Marvs opener came after a good spell of passing play and he stormed through and finished very easily against boros makeshift keeper. We will come back to him in a minute. As the rest of the half wore on the pitch and the rain and the wind became more influential and passes were coming up short and both teams had clear cuts chances to add to the score but we went in one up and good value. Boro came out strong for the second half and forced a headed equaliser from a set piece soon after the break. We could easily have wobbled at that point but instead we went on the counter and, in what was possibly the most decisive moment in the came, rentsy gambled from long range , keeps fumbled and we went two one up. With dundo dropping back into midfield and doing some immense work alongside the welcome return of Rivs, and with the defence holding firm, we really dug in. Still plenty of lively stuff up front as well and after some nice play down the right the ball came across to Marv in space and he finished comfortably for his second. To be fair we could have had one or two more as the fella in the boro goal came under some real pressure. Brave effort by him in my view. Although boro created some pressure themselves from the long ball at the end it was sutton pushing on in what was an immense effort all round, particularly with Deano and h suspended. Dead proud of all of them all today. They must be knackered.
