Elsewhere Carshalton are winning and Lewes losing but only 1-goal margins, if it stays like that Lewes escape and Carshalton are down. AFC WImbledon win 2-1 and stay up at the expense of Barnet, Andy Scott's Aldershot also relegated to the Conference.

So that's nine wins out of nine in April - we finish 6th, two points behind Chelmsford and Eastleigh.
The first half today was pretty even, Bath seeing two goals disallowed and Marvin putting us ahead by looping a rebound over the line. After half-time we took control, Leroy scoring via a post then being bundled over by their keeper for a pen venomously converted by Dundo. By the time Marv added his second the Roman legions were in disarray.
What odds will the bookies be offering on us for next season?

What a fantastic end to the season and a great atmosphere amongst the Sutton faithful. All topped off by Duke's solo rendition of One Step Beyond, just brilliant.

First final won, one more to go. Proper effort by the players and management. Can't complain with 6th place. Dos' record is fantastic, job for as long as he wants it! Well done to all involved in keeping the club moving forward for the last 5 seasons. Exciting couple of years ahead.

Well, Dos won his cup final today & boy, the lads did that amber jersey proud. First half had a bit of end of season in the sun about it. Marv probably should have netted from Leroy's pass early on but he put U's ahead after 33 mins by being persistent and able to just control a bouncing ball.
With the wind & slope in their favour Bath started the second half on the attack but it was U's who got the important second goal of the match. Dundo weighted a lovely pass for Marv who turned onto his right & found Leroy who scored with a shot in off the post. If this was to Be Leroy's last hurrah in a Sutton shirt he took the opportunity with a fine display. It was his unselfish running that brought the penalty and U's third; Dundo thumping the spot kick home.
Marv scored his second when he ran onto a long ball from the back & the City defenders just watched him fire home. U's could have scored a couple more and their flow was not upset by the introduction of Chris B, Kevant & Rhys.
The ref upset the locals no end today but could have sent off their 'keeper at the penalty incident. Perhaps as the ball was in the air he felt Leroy wasn't in control or perhaps becuse it was the lat game of the season, he decided a yellow was enough.
A great end to a fantatic April effort from the team. 8 league wins on the spin; some outstanding football based on the simplicity of passing and movement. Possession is key and recycling the ball by going backwards to find a different route forward, shows a patience and maturity of this squad that should not be underestimated.
Well done to all and oh for a couple of wins in that first 9 games and another play off semi would have beckoned. It was not to be but that should not detract from the way the management and squad have approached the target of finishing as high as possible.
Let's end the season with a SSC win to equal a record that has been held by Dulwich for many years but more importantly to provide this season that has had it's highs and lows with one of the former.
Finally back today. A nice touch by skip to bring the players to the fence. He thanked me for our support and I told him that they deserved it. Both sentiments were genuine.
And great respect to bath City for that announcement over the tannoy to applaud the visiting fans. Twerton Park is a massive old Southern League ground with a truly superb view fom behind the goal at the top of the slope and it was certainly wonderful viewing today. The 4-0 win was Bath's heaviest league defeat of the season and I congratulate all for a fine afternoon's work.

I think it's lovely when the players take the time to go across and talk to the youngsters at the end.
