Sutton United , average home crowd this season 443 , charging full price admission plus stand transfer to supporters who are sixty years old and have been following the club for forty/fifty years.
They will of course let every Tom , Dick and Jayden in for free at regular intervals.

As a 61 year old I would point out that I can get in at a concessionary rate at Carshalton, Chipstead/E&E, Whyteleafe, Bromley/Cray, Kingstonian and most other non-league clubs. If we are in competition with other clubs for spectators we should give ourselves a level playing field. I'll be watching 3 Ryman League games this week, for not much more than one Sutton game. |

Old codgers: going on about the old days and how you could get to a game, get a prog, cup of bovrel for a tanner. Then telling everyone that all the old matches used to end 5-4 as defending had not been invented back then!
