Thought I'd start a thread as the pre season is now underway for some clubs! Dover lost 5-0 at home to Dag&Red and Chelmsford were holding a full strength Leyton Orient side 0-0 at half time, and went on to lose the game 7-0, although I hear that Tom Davis had a good game (Obviously managed not to get booked on this occasion )

I'm sorry but I can't get into football at this time of year. It's the cricket season. It's quite ridiculous how early pre season friendlies are starting these days.
That said I will obviously try and get to our ones that aren't on a Saturday as they are rather attractive.

The second half featured entirely new elevens for both teams. City's eleven included ten trialists whereas Orient included quite a number of first team players and could have made double figures to be honest.

At least 44 players featured and no bookings!

At least 44 players featured and no bookings! One of Tom's better days then. Good player, but his disciplinary record is awful. If you have him for the whole season, and he stays injury free, you can put a few quid on him missing a quarter of the games due to suspensions. Also prone to throwing strops if he's not played in his favourite position. Good player with us, but never a team player.

I'm confident Dean will be able to manage him.

Don't worry Andy, I'll be keeping a close eye on Tom's progress too when I relocate to Chelmsford in the next month or two
