What's up with Dean Sinclair then?

All the Sutton goals were headers, two by players making their debuts. Janmie Slabber, a former Spurs trainee, will have relished his. Except the 3rd? I thought it was a header at the time, but it seems I was mistaken. Great finish, whatever part of his body he used!

What's up with Dean Sinclair then? No idea, only lasted about a minute though.

It was indeed a volley, and a good one at that

Enjoyable night I and my Arsenal mate thought. Like Frakey I feared an absolute tonking at one point but luckily we rallied, made it a contest and an OK score line. I wasn't too impressed with the standing still defending we employed for the first half but as it was the first PSF I won't worry too much. Their number 10 looks handy and a decent signing for their academy. Not too keen on a lad of 15 being better at footy than me when he's more than half my age! Well taken goals for us and the two new lads scored which is a bonus eh?

Who are the new guys then? Have we signed them or try out only?

"Who are the new guys then? Have we signed them or try out only?" Swedish - see match report on www.suttonunited.net, where Paul explains the position.

In addition to the four players signed (Taylor, Slabber, Binns and Nelson), four other players were on trial last night Redwood, Duncan, Swaibu and Kudjajo - was particularly impressed with Redwood at left back and Swaibu who came on for Stuart and could provide good defensive cover..
Serbonij, Benjamin, Moon and Murrell-Williamson we all know from the reserves last season and some first-team games too!

Did anyone else apart from me think James Folkes should have got man of the match - thought he put in a very good performance last night! Particularly second half where he teamed up well with Murrell-Williamson on the right..
