I won't be at this one but I reckon it will be a good exciting game with a Sutton win

You're copying the wrong code into the website. If it has &feature etc at the end of the code, then the forum won't accept is as a youtube video. You need to chop off everything from the ampersand onwards

Really good encouraging performance coming back from two nil down to win three two. Great to see jamie Taylor play a full game and looking sharp and taking a superbly finished goal. By the second half we had taken control in midfield and tightened up at the back and all in all a very good and positive workout as we get close to the off.

Encouraging second half performance and a deserved win.I must say though there is one major worry for me and that is Mitchell Nelson in the back line.He gives me no confidence whatsoever that he won't give away a goal. Mom for me was Ali Fuseini who i thought was superb in the middle of the park and with Dean Sinclair they together make an excellent partnership. How Dos is going to fit all these players in i have no idea.

Shakey first 20mins, but a bit of a reshuffle made us a lot stronger. Agree that Nelson had a very poor first half and hasn't really shown much pre-season, but he was much better 2nd half, esp when we moved the 3 at the back and he moved more central. Apart from that, things are shaping up nicely. Binns and Taylor worked fantastic together, and Sinclair was great when he came on. A great way to to finally notch up our first pre season win, which will give the squad a real boost. We've yet to see the two Jamies playing together for any decent amount of time, but having seen Mr Taylor get through his first 90min for the club, I'm pretty excited when we do.

For the 2nd week in a row we put in a excellent 2nd half performance after digging a bit of a hole for ourselves. Going forward the introduction of Taylor has definitely added and boy did he take his goal well, no messing about pick that one out I thought Dundo had his best game (well part) so far this campaign, Ali class and looks even better with Sinclair. Harry looked lively as well, but I like others are not convinced with Mitchell at the back. We are not attacking corners and have conceded 3 or 4 now from unmarked headers so as was suggested to me maybe Downer could go right back and bring in Moses Swaibu? I thought Aldershot were a tad over physical and they may not have finished a match for real with 11 on the pitch?

Just like last week we saw the best from the U's once we scored. Confidence is key in all sport. It is important we start games believing in our ability and ensuring we dominate from the start. Let's do it next Saturday!

Good to get a win under our belts at last! Aldershot were much the quicker out of the blocks and were deservedly 2-0 up inside 20 minutes. Their first goal followed a corner after Tom had made a great save, the second came when Simon Downer was muscled off the ball leaving their player through on target. At that stage most of us were fearing the worst. But with Harry having come on as an early sub (for Marvin) we managed to steady the ship before the interval, hitting the post once, then wrest the initiative in the second half.
Our first goal was down to Dundo following up after Jamie T sped past the last Shots defender only to see his strike stopped but not held by the keeper. The second was a nonchalant penalty from Sinclair after Harry had been brought down just inside the area. The third was a rifled first-time shot from Taylor following perseverance from James Folkes who won the ball on the line then cut it back.
Both sides had chances to score again, Dundo shooting narrowly wide with only the keeper to beat then Aldershot managing to get two headers off target with our goal gaping.
Still some work to do on the defence, but the attack is shaping up nicely.

Good to chalk a first win up, especially after going 2 down early on. Look a bit susceptable to the ball over the top and when being run at but I think we've held back from making too many challenges pre-season and w've been playing against teams from a higher level.
Well impressed with Jamie Taylor. Showed great pace, skill and work ethic. Took his goal well. Think Dos will go with Fuseini and Sinclair in the middle of the park. I think our subs bench wil be the best in the division if all players are available. Lovely headache for Dos to have.

Works hard and has an eye for goal. It is a pity Jamie Slabber did not play, I assume he is injured?
