I know more and more of you read the news online and don't buy a programme any more, but trust me, this season's programme is going to have more exclusive content, including articles, insight and in depth interviews.
Starting tonight, we see Mark Frake return to writing duties with piece on former U's legend Graham Dennis who sadly passed away in the summer. The Amber Aleman adds his round up of the movers and shakers in the Conference South... Even the Company Chairman has written an article.
Go on, try it for this month. Three issues. See what you think.
Enjoy

The only reason I stopped buying the programmes a number of years ago (about 10) is actually I don't have space to store them anymore. Certainly nothing to do with the quality. For those of you who sit on the fence about buying one, I urge you to do so. Invariably it's a great read, and as the editor has hinted, both Mr Frakes and the Alemans contributions to the programme are never a dull read, full of interesting facts, amazing historical insights and always written up to a really high standard.
I echo - give it a try!

I've thought about doing a bit, and maybe I will this year, but to be honest I bow to the knowledge and ability of Messrs Frake and Bravery. Total respect for both of their submissions

Also small point but some of the profiles need an update, saying joined in the summer when it was last summer. Sorry to be pedantic. Good prog last night. Anything that can be added not seen online is good. That is a reason I don't buy so often these days. Chose to put money in the collection instead last year as there was little to read.

Andy - you can always do an "opinion" piece - as can anyone. Never feel daunted by the historians who produce factual pieces. You can draw on your own knowledge, a nostalgic look back at your first game, or a previous meeting with a specific opposition, a tactical analysis if you've coaching ideals.
As John James suggested last night, I'll try to push the unique content each week. Let's see if we can bump the sales up a bit. As ever, money is always tight and many are involved with the Strikers Are Key scheme but £2.50 for what is one of the better programmes in the league...
Give it a try for August, see what you think. If you've bought one from Staines, why not bring it on Saturday and give it to a friend who didn't see it.
Thank you to contributors, current and future, and thanks for any feedback.

I got the programme on Saturday and thought it was excellent.
Extremely well laid-out and very interesting.
As a 'newcomer' I will get it each time I make my way to GGL!

Good stuff. I've been getting it for years and have never been disappointed.
