Why is it OS, you describe teams who we don't beat as average? BS had two v good centre backs, especially the no 5 and the big 7 in the middle of the park who scored the second goal was outstanding. Nothing average about them today. They won fair and square.

Hello everyone! This was my second ever Sutton United game today and whilst it wasn't the best performance I am going to overlook that! My first game was the 3-0 romp against Billericay Town at the end of last season. I am originally from the Lake District (don't ask why I ended up in London.. It was work!) and loved non-league football up there. I followed my local side Kendal Town FC. Me and my girlfriend both work in London and are currently house hunting for a more affordable place with a bit more space without paying the crazy prices of zones 2-3. We ended up looking in Sutton and found some really great places available, with a reasonable commute to Victoria, where we both work near. Anyway, we have put an offer in today on a place in SM2 and as I viewed the property again at 2:15, all I could think was - Sutton kick off at 3pm! Despite the terrible weather I enjoyed myself today and will certainly be back. I met a friendly older fellow behind the goal in the second half who quickly realised I'm not a local and welcomed me in. Hopefully I will get to meet some others if we get this offer accepted!! Welcome aboard and good luck with the house purchase, can't go far wrong with SM2, my old post code.

I call them average because having seen their previous match highlights and watching them today they do not appear to me to have enough to be making a challenge. Neither do I think they will have any relegations problems. I think they are a good conference south side and today we came up a little bit short on that.

Stortford were always dangerous and we needed a second goal to kill them off.It didn't happen so we needed to make sure we kept a clean sheet.Bringing on Mitchell was bizarre to say the least.I'm thinking that Binns wasn't fully fit and Dos wanted another winger so he used Folkes. To me the obvious substitution was Sincalir for McDonald at the time and hang on to what we had.

i would love to know how many teams have managed the BSS title after 3 points from 9, I would wager none. I'm afraid you'd lose your wager then. Weymouth lost two of their first three games before going on to win the league in 2005/06. One of those first two defeats was at Eastleigh, so we're in good company. In fact, they lost 3 of their first 5. PS It isn't the BSS any more

Dunno if it's happened any other time baboonfish, I just happened to remember that one (and I did look it up to check, of course). But let's face it, this league has been going less than 10 years and to say that one particular combination of 3 results has only happened once means that it's unlikely to happen again seems a bit hasty to me. Chin up I'm not saying it isn't a bad thing we've only got 3 from 9 - they all count - but it is at the other end of the season that championship winning teams really show their true colours. So personally, I'm going to give it time. Remember how we ended last season? If we get going a bit quicker this season, it could work out very nicely for us!
