Last I heard we were waiting for a lease on Collingwood pitches, has anything happened since? Is there any sort of expected timeframe in place for decisions? Has there been any development at Conference level regarding 3G pitches following our club's statement earlier in the year? Is it fair to say the main sticking point would be the fact the Football League don't currently allow them? If anyone can answer any of the questions that would be appreciated. If they can't I'll carry on wondering.

Nothing has really changed in terms of the big picture, although a lot of detail has been dealt with and I will report in more detail in a forthcoming match programme once we receive clarification around a few outstanding issues but, as at today, the position is that we would like to start works next May. That will depend on the Collingwood Rec agreement being signed off and grants being secured to part-fund the scheme, how much we are able to achieve will depend on what grants we get and how much we can contribute ourselves. We know what we want to do and have prefered designs and contractors. As I have said all along, it could yet all come to nothing.
The possibility of a 3G playing surface is a completely separate issue and is not part of the above proposals. Currently they are not accepted by the Football Conference although various parties are trying to have that position reviewed.
