P.s their 3 what a joke. Park player summed up by his park shout at the start of the 2nd half about having the hill 2nd half!! Dissent at every decision, proper idiot. That's Chris Kinnear Jnr - son of their manager!

By far our best defensive performance of the season (and at times it needed to be). Jamie was superb defensively and Charile made a big difference. Highlight for me though was the performance of Tom Lovelock. For the first time Tom looked commanding on crosses (against large opposition), catching and punching confidently and knocking people out the way if he had to. Great to see him add that to his game because he is a superb shot-stopper. Good point on Tom. Last couple of games he's been very good. Yes he made an error against Farnborough but he came back from that strongly both in that game and last night. Has to be said probably the best passer of the ball on display last night which is another massive plus point!!

Dover were their own worst enemies kicking the ball away after the ref had blown.Did look like 7 dived from where i was standing .

Ok Dover had a lot of the ball but we had more chances. I think a 3-0 score line would be a fairer reflection of the game.

Good attacking performance. Binns was MOTM for me although other than a spate of wasteful passing late in the day, the performances were excellent throughout.
Defence controlled the game with consummate ease for the first time since I've been watching Sutton. Goal mouth scramble asside, Dover were poor upfront. They have an amazing keeper though, just about the best I've seen in this league, and probably should be in the Conference National.

The Dover and ebsfleet forums both make pretty brutal reading at the moment. Even though Eastleigh have got a good start from amongst the fancied teams, with Bromley the surprise early package, this league is wide open. Not looked at the Chelmsford forum yet. That's one for the voyeur I suspect.

I agree with Gareth, I didnt think Dover were up to much either. Very one dimensional, absolutely no width and no midfield, it would have been extremely disappointing if we hadnt beaten them because we were better than them. Sides like that are never easy to beat but they seem to get found out at this level and I could see them struggling if they dont find a plan b. Its all well and good to pump the ball up to the big men all day long but if that isnt working you need another option and they didnt seem to have it.
