If you're driving to the game on Saturday bear in mind that the cycling Tour of Britain is in Surrey. In particular there are road closures in Guildford for most of the day, and although it doesn't go on the A3 it is scheduled to cross it on the A247 at Send sometime around 1.45 - 2.00.

While contemplating the drive to Havant via the tour of Britain Lycra fest I thought I'd check out the away clubs forum. Nothing much of interest on there about tomorrow's clash but they were touting this extraordinary thread from the Eastleigh forum www.havantandwaterlooville.co.uk/boards/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4108Talk about self flagellation. I am intrigued by the "getting naked in Truro" thread and just hope these hard living spitfires offer us more of this "no sleep til Hampshire" stuff. From the blocked coach toilets to Amanda's unspecified, self imposed ban I will never view a trip to the Eastleigh shithouse in the same way again. |

It is, of course, illegal to carry alcohol on a coach going to or from a football game.

Got that Dave. That may explain the slightly hazy Amanda scenario. Is it also illegal to cavort naked in Truro. Either in transit or in situ?

Ah but they are such great fans! Can't recall ever hearing a peep out of them or seeing them travelling in any sort of number. Perhaps we'll see a few more jumping on the bandwagon this time round.
