lovely little stadium by the looks of it! all who made the long trip were well rewarded, gutted i missed it. old GGL looks a tad tired when compared

Yes. No question it's a good place to watch football. As long as you are winning. Thirteen quid to get in but that includes a pretty decent programme. Excellent catering set up an a big boozer attached and as I'd set off a bit earlier in case of cycling disturbance I arrived in time for a cheeky cold carlsberg. Nice. Superb playing surface but as I overheard someone saying on the way out it sure as hell doesn't suit havants style of play and they would be better off getting the tractor out and churning it up a bit. Our lads who like to ping it about and play on the deck with pace must have wished they could have rolled it up and stuck it on the bus.

Wasn't always like that. Havant suffered countless postponements 2 seasons ago and had to spend alot of money on the pitch. The stadium is fairly new though and some of their cup run money was spent on the covering along the side opposite the main stand. A good set up though. Not sure about the 530 gate that was published. Well down on previous visits but Pompey being at home may not have helped.
