Why would they not think they can win. It is the FA Cup and they are unbeaten, and at home. I am pretty sure we would be exactly the same, well apart from me that is ~ [half glass empty unless we are winning 5-0 with a few minutes to go]

The Lewes lunatic fringe giving it the big one? That's what they are there for. Should be a great atmosphere and should fire our boys up. Bring it on. We should have plenty up for this one. I've got the fever.

seem a bit full of themselves this lot with most of the comments suggesting they think they'll win and that we're not very good Careful - they might! I don't for a moment think we are not fully capable of beating Lewes this time, but capability is for the league. The FA Cup is all about the shocks!

I know many at the club and the manager would prefer a home game. However I'm pleased we are playing away to Lewis. I think the players will be more 'up' for an away game. The Sutton fans will be in full voice, as will be the home fans. Like totter I have the fever!

I like the grudge or revenge match theme although I think it a little past its sell by date. I don't like clubs who spend other peoples money that they have no intention of paying back just so they enjoy a season or two being as big time Charlie's. The last time we were at the DP there was a contingent of pint glass yielding individuals who thought mocking was the way to go when they put 4 or 5 past us. Hopefully those glory boys have now gone and its a proper football club again?
Yes we can lose to them it has all the ingredients of one of those shock matches, but when all said and done we have better players and if we play as well as we can we will win no matter what Lewes do,

It's a cup tie; form book at the window (that includes their form as well). They have nothing to lose with regards the tie itself so no pressure. Probably a bit like us entertaining a half decent Conference side.
They do have a proven manager who appears to have turned the club around as they narrowly missed being relegated. I don't do predictions but like most away ties it will be tough.

I love the poster based on the Clash album and the Banksy one for the Met Police game is excellent.

I love the poster based on the Clash album and the Banksy one for the Met Police game is excellent. The Clash album cover is based/nicked from an early Elvis album cover.

Yes I knew that Billy. It will always remind me of The Clash though.
More of a Clash fan than an Elvis one. The poster is headed The Clash so the designer was probably a Clash fan too

Seems like we will have a Sutton legend at the game on Saturday - www.lewesfc.com/cup-hero-guest-of-honour-on-saturday/Those of you too young to remember what a quality player Paul Rogers was missed out on a treat - went straight from us to Prem Football, and with good reason too!

Here is a question, Paul Rogers left Sutton but returned to play one match for us and nearly resigned for the club at the latter end of his career. What was that match?
