Yes, I had intended to do that this week but was short of time. I just need to ask Paul to e-mail something suitable each week. A photo with players and fans celebrating would be a good advert for the club. www.flickr.com/photos/paulloughlin/10105976594/

Well Billy, with your reduced admission and no-one wearing replica tops, seems like Carshalton is the place for you. You'll see plenty of goals. For the opposition of course

No Adults wearing replica shirts!! That would mean less revenue to the club via club shop sales.
Not the best of ideas.
For the record, my personal choice is to wear replica shirts on matchdays only.

There's someone I've seen at GGL who wears replica shirts every match. Not a Sutton one, but obscure European club ones. Different one every game.

What a nasty, hateful piece of overly opinionated drivel. He doesn't even give a valid reason for why grown adults should wear what he tells them to.
I'm wearing my Sutton shirt today because I believe that seeing their colours widely represented in crowds gives the team a boost. They might not even notice, but I like to think it makes a difference.

Are all the dug outs still in place obstructing the view of the pitch from the stands ? I haven't been round there since i escaped at half time against Godalming. How hard would it be to get rid of them just for a start ? The dugouts issue really annoys me. I used to love the atmosphere stood down behind the dugout area, especially for an evening game. That area is effectively 'no go' now as the view is severely obstructed. Old dugouts still in place! Very poor, I know the reason given for the new dugouts is the equidistance rule of the League. Fair enough, thoughI think the rule is a ridiculous one at this level. Also, I know the reason why they can't be sited along the perimeter fence still is apparently services underground, but it looks a right dogs dinner. Could perspex dugouts not be utilised, if nothing else?! Other little annoyances like the moveable goalposts dumped along the dugout side of pitch every game when a little effort could move them well out of the way of spectators. I also think that psychologically £12 entry does deter people. Handing over a £10 is one thing, having to present a purple note has deterred me on several occasions. Infact I think I would attend twice as many games if the entrance fee was just that couple of quid less. I think it has to be worth a try anyway, certainly worth Trying if possible for midweek games. I certainly think that the schools idea is a good one. Maybe to approach senior schools as much as primary schools and hand out free tickets. Particularly the major footballing schools in the borough such as Wilsons and Sutton Manor. I initially got into coming to Sutton as something to do in the afternoon after playing football for school in the morning. Different colour tickets would be a good idea for promotional reasons, so the Club could keep track of the uptake from particular schools and forge regular links with them. Something else I don't understand is why the club puts advertising boards on areas of the ground where supporters stand in front of whilst huge areas of perimeter pitch fence are bare metal mesh?! Just a few things from the top of my head. The club does a lot of things superbly and I will always praise/defend it to the outsider, but some things could be done much better very easily.

Its interesting that with the lack of Premiership football today that the 2 conference south matches played attracted much bigger crowds then of late:
Farnborough v Hayes : att 714 Havant v Basingstoke att 956
I also think the age poll, is underlining the fact that we are not picking up and keeping supporters under the age of 30, with 79% above 30 and 62% above 40 being a little concerning?
