It seems Gosport picked the date without checking and Sutton did not do there home work either. I think that a lot of selfless, time consuming work, countless phone calls, emails and the like go on behind the scenes from volunteers on seemingly small matters such as these, involving two clubs (that have to agree), The FA and two leagues to agree on all the possible permutations that could result - this of course doesn't get reported blow by blow and some comments on forums (per above) could appear to be unhelpful at best. Now you've gone & done it!

Well, as the scheduled visit to Gosport has been moved to Wednesday, I would have thought a replay would be played on the same night. Might upset Mr Miller though as I believe the Youth are at home that night too. Has the visit to Gosport been moved to Wednesday as on all the official sites its still showing as Tuesday?

I do apologise, it was a inconsiderate comment.

The preview on the official site says "If tomorrow's game is drawn then the replay is scheduled for next Tuesday at Gander Green Lane."

Can't imagine there is any flexibility with the FA Cup. I'll be there should a replay be necessary to decide the tie.

I'm not sure about this season but last season, Lewes played midweek fixtures quite regularly on a Wednesday.

What about the match if its rained off??? It hasn't stopped all day south of the downs. Should be OK. The Dripping Pan is on downland chalk, which drains rather well. And the rain's forecast to ease off tomorrow.
