I thought we played well for the most part! According to BBC we had more possession during the game. We just made a couple of silly mistakes at the back and they made us pay for them. Need to put it to the back of the mind now and concentrate on the away trip to Bath on Tuesday. As others have said Tom was outstanding a couple of really good saves.
The one thing i didn't get was the fact that we didn't seem to have anyone playing in front of Downer on the right throughout the whole game he looked to go forward and there was no one for him to pass it too in front of him.
The fans were fantastic great support and a great turnout!

I know its an old saying but we must now really concentrate on the league.I hope there is no hangover for Tuesdays game as Bath have picked up in recent weeks & it will be a tough game.Good luck to Bishops Stortford today & i hope they go far in the cup distracting them from league programme as they seem to have a very competitive side.

From the pictures on the ITV highlights, the main thing for me is not the difference between the squads (they were at home and clearly have an excellent squad for Conf Prem level), it was the difference between the grounds. I know that they achieve a higher average gate than ourselves, but in my time watching Sutton the gate has differed wildly from 450 to 1000+, surely it's time to do the ground up for a push into the Conf Prem? We do have plans for a partial redevelopment. Their East stand cost over a million pounds 10 years ago. Ground redevelopments costs a fortune

That was a high quality game of football contested by two teams looking to play the game as it ought throughout. We have enjoyed another great FA Cup run and played our part in a big way yesterday never resorting to smashing it forward or getting lots of bodies behind the ball thereby compromising our forward play. Think back and you will count 5 or 6 great opportunities in open play when we caused Kiddie's defence real problems.
We came up against a good outfit who, by their own fans' admission, had a particularly good day at the office. They were quick, strong and clinical in front of goal, creating other opportunities to score too in what was an open and entertaining match to watch and a credit to both sides' philosophy on how to play the game.
Nice ground too and an hospitable set of fans. Good luck to them for the rest of the season. Our supporters got behind the team well too in some numbers.
Well done to our management and players for another good show and an important Cup run. Now it's a case of getting back to the business of pushing on in the League (and Trophy). Yet another great day to be a Sutton fan.
Onwards and upwards.

Goals here
Really good entertaining game. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Should imagine you stand a good chance of getting up.

No - he's a vice president at Wolves now but he still comes to one or two games a season

I wondered why I did not recognise the ground from my last visit. I dug out some photos from a previous visit. They were taken on the 9th April 1988 , a 1-1 draw in the GM Vauxhall Conference. I like what you've done with the place . Thanks to all at Kidderminster for your hospitality yesterday. One small thing you might do for visiting supporters, though , is to ask the Severn Valley Railway to lend Network Rail some working points . A nightmare journey home Attachments:

I remember the ground looking like that on our first visit in the Conference. Quite a facelift, eh? We went up there one mid-week and drew 0-0. If I remember rightly, Mark Golley hit the bar with a late penalty.

He did AB. Probably the closest we come to winning at Aggborough. It was our first visit and one of four draws (including the FA Cup tie in 1995) that we have achieved. Sadly, no wins.
