Half time 1-0 Sutton
Sounds like an open game
Dos going for pace down the wings, Fuseini playing well in midfield!

I wasn't there but excellent radio commentary from Bath City, I could hear our fans so I think those who made the trip deserve a lot of credit.
We appeared to be cruising at 2-0 up and if JS's effort had of gone in before the break maybe it would have been game over? I don't know if we dropped 2 pts or gained 1 with Tom's penalty save but I am sure Dos will be disappointed to see a 2 goal lead slip?
We stay outside the playoff places in 6th with a 10pt gap between us a leaders Eastleigh which does seem rather flattering to them. Whether we are still a little naive away from home or not I think could be a question, very open on Saturday and again tonight when maybe others would have been a little more reserved?

Thanks os for your kind comments. Its a new team we have put together to do commentary. It was a great game and the best Sutton side I have seen for many a long time. Thanks once again.

But for one save from Tom in the first half, Bath had troubled U's little but goals change matches and their first, a few minutes after Jamie Slabbers' brilliant goal had put Sutton 2-0 up did just that. It galvanised the home side and they played with far more purpose and urgency thereafter.
U's had enjoyed much of the play without troubling the home defence before Mitchell Nelson had stooped to head home Sam Rent's excellent corner. Slabs then hit the bar with a fine header.
Kicking up the slope in the second half U's extended their lead when Slabs received the ball on the edge turned his marker the wrong way and struck a great shot in off the underside of the bar.
Bath's lifeline came after good work from Watkins (I think) ended with a cross that Pratt was able to attack with a great header past Tom's despairing dive. From then on the home side roared on by a smallish but partisan home crowd enjoyed a number of attacks down the slope. U's were still fluent with some good passing movement but were unable to unlock the home defence.
The equaliser came in the 83rd min with Stearn running at Sam Rents and getting into the box before firing a well struck shot past TL. A tricky customer Stearn as he showed against us for WSM in their win at GGL last season.
Having already been cautioned (his 5th) Simom Downer then brought down Pratt in the box and tbh, he really should have got a second yellow at least but then the referee was Mr Coggins!
Stearn took the penalty and struck it low to Tom's right and he got down to make a fine save.
So 1pt gained or two lost? A bit of both really but there was some tired legs out there (SD looked like he carried an injury for most of the game too) after Saturday so I'd say a point at an in-form Bath with U's missing/resting players is not a bad return from a midweek trip.
Home in just over 2 hours too, so not bad.

Decent turnout from the Sutton fans considering the distance for an evening game. Disappointing to surrender a 2-0 lead, having just about been the better side in the first hour, but a draw was probably a fair result over the 90 minutes as Bath stepped up the pressure down our flanks late on. Great pen save from Tom who'd been beaten by the same player from the spot at Weston last season.
