I thought Charlie Clough was MOTM by a country mile. One of the best signings Dos has made for us.

Sounds like a decent game, wish id known about the commentary! Important we get players back to fitness between now and 23rd, we have alot of games between now and the new year, including some long away trips and 2 game per week most weeks. If I were picking the side I would probably draft in a couple of the reserves for next weeks trophy game and see if they are likely to be able to step up.

The trophy game is a must win, as there is £4000 for the winners. The reserve players will get their chance against the Ks.

I'd agree with that. The ressies will get a game in the Surrey Cup game, surely?

This was a great comment from the Bath City forum. Lets hope Tom gets to read the first sentence. I had a feeling Sutton's keeper would save the penalty. Thought he was impressive, possibly the best distribution I've seen from a keeper from our level.
An enthralling game. Sutton are a very good side, we can take a lot of positives from coming back from 2-0 down against them. Keeps the unbeaten run going, with the three wins either side of two 2-2 draws when we were 2-0 down. Encouraging and keeps the moaners away i agree, that was great entertainment tonight. would have been harsh on sutton if we had nicked it at the end, as i thought they were the best side i've seen so far this season. however, we became stronger as the game went on and it is so good to see us having the confidence to play to our strengths at last. www.ilovebathcity.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6741

I wasn't there but excellent radio commentary from Bath City, I could hear our fans so I think those who made the trip deserve a lot of credit. ...and here they are

A very entertaining game and I thought that a draw was about fair. The first half was definitely edged by the Us and 1-0 could have been a comfortable 2-0 but for Slabber's header coming back off the bar. We seemed to tire quite badly 2nd half, maybe a result of being given the run around by Kidderminster, and as our midfield began to drop off Bath found time and space to release the ball to the flanks where they really troubled us. I thought we would need 2 goals to be safe and when Slabber scored an excellent 2nd I admit I felt that it would be enough, which shows exactly how much I know. Lovelock's penalty save was very good and in the end a point was very welcome.
Player for player we are probably just a bit better than Bath but they dug in and were well backed by their crowd. I don't see that many games living down here but after seeing 2 in 4 days it does show how massive the gulf is between the top of the Conference and our league. Arguably it's much more entertaining being competitive in a league where financial resources are broadly similar for most clubs than getting tonked in a national league where some clubs can fund playing resources we can only dream of.

I am just suggesting it might be wise to rest players who are carrying knocks, not that we field a deliberately below strength side. Marvin played through an injury early in the season and hasnt been seen since, if that were to happen to a few more of our squad, which is certainly on the small side, we could be struggling. Someone mentioned Downer looked like he was carrying a knock, and if other players are not 100% they should sit out the game with an eye on a busy league program. Our squad is all about quality over quantity and its important we know if anyone can step up if we suffer a run of injuries and or suspensions.

For any Sutton fans who cannot get to GGL tomorrow and want an excuse not to go Christmas shopping (I cant believe I am saying that already), from twenty to three we have highlights of Tuesday nights game followed by an interview with Paul Doswell. It was a great match. www.kerslakesport.co.uk and go to the BCIR live page.
