Andy - Just on the Slabber booking, from my view he very clearly stuck his leg out to block the ball and would have no complaints on his booking.
But lets not worry about that. Good win and good to see him get a couple of goals. Was also impressed with his unselfish header back for the third when he could have been justified in going for goal himself.

Our first win since October, and we'd reached the point where we didn't really mind how we did it as long as we got three points. We just about deserved the victory, but Maidenhead were no pushovers and we had to take the lead three times before securing the points. It was an open game, and good value for any neutral watching, though both managers will be a bit concerned about some of the defending. Two cool finishes from Slabber proved his worth to the side and he was a little unlucky not to score a hat-trick.
That result takes us back up to 5th. If the players need an incentive for Monday's trip to Boreham Wood (and gawd we all need an incentive to go there!), a win by two goals or more would lift us to 3rd.

Good to get back to winning ways. A deserved win. We did seem to get a bit edgy 2nd half and the game got very scrappy. 1st half decent enough and we should have been ahead at ht. Decent strike by RP for them. Unfortunately the ref prompted more very average challenges by not dealing with initial offences that needed a card.
