Always a difficult place to play.We were too open to start with & nearly paid the penalty.I assume that bringing Rivs was a tactical substitution AS Rents slotted in at left back leaving Mitchell to play on his favourite side. From that moment onwards we looked a better team & you could see the confidence come flooding back after we had taken a 2- 0 lead.Lets take that into Saturdays game against Tonbridge.

A great result last night. First half I think we were poor as we adapted to the conditions slower than wood did, and they showed ability above their current position - you can see from the first 20mins how they got a cup run together. Their problem is the more the game went on, the more they faded, and although we were lucky to be winning at half time, there can be no doubt about the result over the course of 90mins. Our first goal was our first bit of class of the game, and I'm really chuffed Scans got his first goal from a superb Nelson ball.
Slabber scores again. Thats 4 in 3 matches for him. He's our top league scorer with Dundo now.
We needed to be targetting 12 from 4 games before Ebbsfleet and we're on track. Tonbridge next, who we have a bit of an annoying habit of drawing with all the time. Not to be taken lightly, they did Eastleigh at their place a few weeks back.
Little comment on the redevelopment work at BW - Although I like the old terrace, the new one under construction looks very impressive, and the work they have done in the bar since my last visit also impresses. Obviously with Arsenal Ladies there, they have money to do these things, but good they are investing in infrastructure as a result.

Have to say that the management team earned their corn last night with the tactical change. Don't think it was any negative commentary on Riv's performance but he was the guy sacrificed for the change. We did look a lot better after the change was made though.

That point was made in the Boreham Wood match report. link

Yep really good highlights, we have to do a bit of plagiarism I thought Dos's comments were spot on, and for me Sam in the team does add stability to the backline. I also saw that Dale has been working on the final ball and delivery in training which I think if he adds that to his game could make him one of, if not the best wingers/wingbacks in the league.
