Rivs has left and hooked up with Jamie Stuart down at Margate. Busy day on the old revolving door today.

Real shame to see Rivs go. He has been outstanding for Sutton either in midfield or as an emergency right back. All the best to him at Margate.

Sad to say goodbye to Rivs, I think he's been an excellent hardworking player for us over the past couple of seasons, didn't involve himself in any trouble and seemed a real modest fella. Thanks Rivs and best of luck!

Agreed. I'd say Rivs has been our most consistent performer since we returned to this level. He's one of those players who you tend not to notice during games, which is actually a compliment for someone in his midfield role - he just gets on with the job in an unfussy way. That said, he has weighed in with the occasional forward run and spectacular goal!
I've a slight concern now that the team is short of defensive midfielders. Ali and Dundo certainly have their merits, but I wouldn't say tackling is either's strong suit! It may be that Dos is lining up a new signing.

Rivs one of my fav U's players over the past few seasons, hard working no fuss quality player, good luck to him at Margate who must be in for exciting times?
I thought we were lacking holding players before this move and I can only imagine Dos is working on bringing cover as he did say we may have to wait for the transfer window???
