On a more positive note, one of our scheduled assistant referees this afternoon had just passed Dover's pitch fit when I phoned him to let him know our game was off and said it was in excellent condition, and the view at Dover is that unless there is more heavy rain between now and Tuesday, which is a possibility, then our game on Tuesday should be OK.

Not sure what prospects are for next Saturday's visit to Melbourne Park, we've had so much rain here in Chelmsford all week, and forecast is more rain until Wednesday !
