Apologies for hijacking your forum again but what with all the recent postponements which has cost non-league clubs thousands the subject of 3G pitches has become more and more obvious. And our co owner Oliver Ash has mentioned Sutton United a number of times in the media, here's the latest media release from Tonbridge Angels Tommy Warrilow...... www.kentonline.co.uk/kent_messenger/sport/warrilow-backs-3g-11099/In our last home game against Hendon when the non-league programme was wiped out, here are some quotes from the away fans forum. "regarding 3G pitches, a complete no-brainer at our level. It was good to be able to go to a game today, knowing that the weather wouldn't cause a postponement or abandonment." "A memorable away day - was it in spite of the weather, or because of it, I'm not sure, but 3G...Wow. never seen anything like it. The last time I saw a live game on an artificial pitch was Gary Waddock's testimonial at QPR in 1987. Incomparable." "Use of a 3G pitch really is no-brainer." "3G pitch a no-brainer at this level; nice ground and a very friendly bunch."
