I think many of us are disappointed by the home crowds, and with the next two teams to visit GGL being Weston and Boreham Wood I can't see home attendances picking up much in the short term. Perhaps if a few more local people were to take a look at the Skrill South table we'd get more through the turnstiles.
Good to hear that Dos himself remains committed to Sutton. He's now in his sixth season with us - there can't be many clubs at our level with longer-serving managers.

We should see a good crowd for WSM its the Tim Vine day with Sky Sports coming to film and a kids fun day.

Great stuff from the gaffer. Brilliant news that the rec end is going to be closed in and on the playing front. I don't know where else you get that kind of honest and inspirational leadership these days.

Paul Doswell,s commitment is great news , players will come and go as we have seen and will continue to see and it proves very unsettling when you feel some of the players let go are top boys in our league , very glad to read dundo and taylor are for now staying with us and that jamie is happy to be at the club , can,t wait for the next game to see and feel the positive S.U.F.C playing

Great interview and as ever, Dos continues to impress. Jamie T signing again is fantastic news and Dundo will continue to be Dundo for another year.
What a fantastic club we support!

Ali is the first player I personally have been sorry to see go out of the recent batch. As always though the reasons are fairly obvious and we can trust Dos and his team to get it right. Fantastic to have Dos committed for a further 3 years, always the most important signing. Good to hear about the ground development but I did think this was part of the bigger plan already? Has this now been set apart as a different more immediate venture?

Has this now been set apart as a different more immediate venture? My guess is he is talking about the terracing at the cr end rather tham the terracing which backs onto the park by roses. That's the focus of the fdp as I understand it whilst dos wants the big curved open end to be squared off like the ggl end

Yes he is but I did think that was part of the plan or perhaps just a follow on 'if we can'. Thought the current terracing on Rec side was due to be moved to that end if we could.

It was or is part of the 'dream' plan for the ground but isn't in phase 1 which is the rec side terrace. I think what Dos is saying he is going to help turn a wish into a reality
