This is very encouraging - it shows how much confidence the board have in Ernie.

Well lets hope the fat lady sings well, and can raise a lot of money!!!
On a serious note, for those that are able now is the time to dig deep and try to help Ernie H fighting fund. I fear for the club if we drop down this year.

Fantastic news and well done to the directors, not only for taking this action, but also for communicating it to the fans, much appreciated, big thumbs up!

This is indeed excellent news and shows the positive intentions of the board in keeping our conf sth status. Also its positive in that EH can now build a team with a bigger budget and even if we fail to stay up we should be in a strong postion to return.
3 cheers for the board!!!

Anybody else still think the board don't want the club to stay in the CS?
Hopefully all those doubting Thomases now know differently.

If any supporters or sponsors would like to offer further help in this regard, then the Directors pledge that any donations would be used specifically for the purpose of the playing budget. Anybody interested in offering help should contact the chairman, in confidence, on 07860 349760 or at chairman@suttonunited.net

I fear for the club if we drop down this year. Now is the time when we all stand together as a club. We can argue the toss in the summer if the next 6 months don't work out. But it's now or never for us, so I'm sure that ANY help, no matter if it's ten quid or ten grand, will be appreciated by the board. It's no good us all looking back in April thinking that we wish we could've done things differently. Just a thought - is there any way that a direct debit account can be set up for anyone wishing to contribute a small amount every week?

That's a fantastic idea Gareth- if charities can make money by having people give a fiver a month by direct debit, then so can we Well done to the board. I have confidence in you even if some don't!

Funny how some of you are critical when competing clubs "enhance" their playing budgets to secure safety or promotion.
