Eastleigh lost at Tonbridge 2-1 tonight so that's one of their games in hand gone and in the trophy game first leg it finished Havant 1-1 Gosport.

6th plays 4th and 7th plays 5th tomorrow night - for the first time in a very long time this season, winning our games in hand over Eastleigh will take us above them. If there was an incentive to get 3 points tomorrow night, it's right there. Although playing a decent Dover side is going to be a tough ask, and it's a very good test of our play-off credentials.
Bromley also are due to play tomorrow night, but the fact they are due to be away to Staines means if any game is going to get called off tomorrow night, it's that one....

And the moral of the story is "Don't try an interpret league tables when knackered". I got my numbers the wrong way round

Leatherhead should have had a goal on Monday from a delicate header, but the post got in the way. For your information, the seven goal winning margin equalled the best Quarter-Final winning margin in this competition that was also held by Sutton when they won 9-2 against Chipstead in 2009-2010. Additionally Sutton hold (or equally hold) the best winning margins in each of the rounds of the competition 1st Round Westfield 1-12 Sutton United (2008-2009) 2nd Round Sutton United 9-0 Epsom & Ewell (2007-2008) Quarter-Finals Sutton United 9-2 Chipstead (2009-2010) Sutton United 7-0 Leatherhead (South) (2013-2014) Semi-Finals Sutton United 3-0 Godalming Town (2004-2005) Carshalton Athletic 3-0 Croydon Athletic (2004-2005) Epsom & Ewell 1-4 Woking (2005-2006) Horley Town 0-3 AFC Wimbledon (2008-2009) Westfield 0-3 Leatherhead (2011-2012) Walton & Hersham 5-2 Molesey (2012-2013) Final Carshalton Athletic 5-1 Sutton United (2004-2005) Sutton United 5-1 Tooting & Mitcham United (2007-2008)
