Having covered league 1 in depth for a sports betting service between 2007-11 I am amazed how many players from that league are now or have recently played in our division. Spillane, Scannell, Fuseini, Rents, Mitch Nelson, Leroy, Beautyman, Lee Sawyer all just from our squad/recent squads cropped up for sides I covered during that time. I guess its one positive to take from the influx of foreign talent in the top divisions, call it 'trickle-down economics' in action.

Couldn't agree more - wonder how much of this is due to "trickle-down" economics and how much is due to Dos. Some of the other players we've had in his time like Pouton, David Hughes etc I just couldn't imagine us getting prior to 2008! Instead we signed players like Stefan Ball for stupid money from a smaller club! |

Greetings from barbados...the sun is shining the birds are singing and we have just watched eng beat wi......mickey spillane...love it...hes already my fav player.......looking forward to supporting the team again now that the club are doing the decent thing and letting poor old codgers like me in for half price.........
