Playing 50/50 at Hayes is money going into a huge black hole. Who the hell knows what happened at that place to go from 2 non league grounds to one incomplete mess? Wouldn't be so sure you'll even be around next year to be playing us. But good luck to you, I'm sure none of those things are your fault!

I bought a 50/50 ticket and was three away from the winning number I don't comment on officials as a rule, but from their vantage point I doubt many Hayes & Yeading fans would have had a good view of their 'keeper pushing, pulling, shoving and holding Gavin McCallum every time we had a corner. The linesman, however, did. I'd like to commend Gav for not reacting at all. A lot of players would have lost their tempers.

Hayes and Yeading fan coming in peace! Looking forward to seeing you all at Woking’ ground on Tuesday, sorry it’s not at our home ground, although there has been some recent progress on that front, at last! If you would like a drink and or hot food before the game may I recommend visiting Paul at his Snooker Club which is located at the far end of the car park to the left of the ground? Although this is a Private club, Paul welcomes all fans with good beer and food and also has Live Football plus I will be there selling the 50/50 tickets in lieu of any entrance fee, drawn at half time in the ground and it’s only a pound, a BARGAIN! Woking’s club house is very dated and no Sky Sports and as “we” do not receive any income from it, hope you understand why we do not use it! Safe journey to you all and looking forward to an entertaining game. This intro is gr8 but as usual people like U ruin it by making stupid points over 50/50 tickets (which is NOT madatory and is the free choice of any one individual to buy or not to buy). One would suggest that U look to your own before critcising others (recent home gates 145,91,112,170 speak for themselves). Furthermore I have just noticed that you owe me £8.00 - having bought a 50/50 & following the above quote 'I will be there selling the 50/50 tickets in lieu of any entrance fee'

Out of context I am afraid nigcapgue, but nice try! As I am sure you are aware we have never had good crowds even in the Conference national but when you are so far from home it is no surprise it is woeful. I just felt it was strange that most of our other visitors happily give a pound and have a friendly chat, not your followers though but as you quite correctly say, it is not mandatory, just a bit of fun that helps in a very, very small way our club which through no fault of the supporters finds us homeless at the moment. Have a nice rest of the season, it is ONLY a game, smiles and good manners cost nothing, not even a pound xxxxx

Quite right that manners cost nothing. Perhaps you should consider that before having a dig at away support which has made up over half your gate receipts for the game? Just a thought. Other than that it is all a little odd as I'd say we are generally a friendly bunch.

I can see why some people have taken exception to the perceived slight marlowboy has aimed at us (particlarly those of us who did buy the tickets) and agree that we had no obligation to do so, so he is perhaps being a little harsh. But on the other hand, I don't think it is necessary to be quite so hostile.
They're disappointed that we didn't help them out in that small way. We weren't obliged to do so and perhaps weren't told where the money was going, so we didnt. Let's move on, shall we?

Disappointing last couple of results for us - would have expected better than 2/6 points against two teams struggling in the league.
Some Eastleigh fan ripping into us after last nights game (really dislike that lot)
"..remember that Sutton also drew 0-0 with Dorchester on Saturday too!.......How poor must Sutton be... In truth, they have gone downhill since their player/coach Paul Telfer left them for a coaching job in the US a couple of weeks ago.... I'm led to believe Damo Scannell is playing out of his skin, yet no goals for the team in 2 games against bottom 5 opposition in both games..."

Belatedly weighing in here. First the football. Another goal less draw and you'd have to point to Jason Brown for that who made a couple of good saves in the first half and one excellent stop in the second. For all our possession we did struggle to make genuine openings with Lee Sawyer's header and JT's cross goal shot our best.
Now to their 'keeper. I find it absolutely bizarre that we could see what was happening at each corner but the officials just blatantly ignored it. By the laws of the game we should have had probably three penalties and the H&Y custodian probably should have walked. Sadly this is the CS and as we have seen week after week, the norm does not always apply.
So to our mate who initially came in peace and then turned on U's because we didn't support his money raising initiative. I always admire those who put the effort in as a volunteer in any form to help their club. Christ, I've done enough myself over many years. But, who the hell is Marlowboy to preach to us how we should spend our hard earned? Personally, I don't go to football to meet the oppo fans. I have talked to many over the years who I have had no problem with but I don't go seeking them out. I'm not into this non-league love-in that has sprung up over the years much because of inter-club forums. Just a personal choice but again nothing to do with Marlowboy or anybody else.
Maybe we are mean but some of us have short memories and recall the actions of their management and players in ignoring requests not to use the pitch for pre-match doggies on Boxing Day. So, Marlowboy tell your club to get its own house in order before you come on here calling us mean when reps of your club are just bloody minded and plain disrespectful.
That is all.

Bizarre linking these results with Telfer. He's been away a while. Dos is away this week (not that I'm saying that's the cause, but it is a more logical conclusion to jump to if that's what you are going to do).
Oh well - I try not to let other teams' fans' opinions bother me. Why should they? What are they going to do?

I often feel guilty about any donations made to SUFC on the grounds that there are many other causes that need the money much more than a non-league football club. Having said that, you can't spend all your disposable income on worthy causes. Well you can, but it would be a very boring existence. I care about Sutton United, I don't care in the slightest about Hayes and Yeading. OK Marlowboy, so at some point, life dealt you a bad hand when it doled out football club directors. I guess we just got lucky at Sutton. I am so tired of the boom and bust club sob stories. "Its not the supporters fault" I hear you say. "How would you like it if it was Sutton?". Well it isn't. All this just reminds me how well run Sutton is.

Am I correct in thinking that it is often over looked as the ball is not in play therefore it is not an offence. Or an I talking crap

I would love to see it again on video.

On a different subject I was extremely disappointed by the lack of your fans prepared to invest a pound in the 50/50, you are indeed the meanest in our league so far this and the last two seasons. Your Directors who I met in the Boardroom were not much better, very surprising. Good luck for the rest of the season, and if you do not make promotion, see you in our new ground, don't forget your pound, you could start saving now!HA HA HA HA HA HA!

I believe that may be Schadenfreude Tony but I am with you on this occasion.
I can now take my savings out of the piggy bank. I had saved up £0.47 towards a 50/50 ticket at Hayes next year but can now invest it in a third of a litre of diesel to help with the drive to Dover on Wednesday night.
