Hayes and Yeading fan coming in peace! Looking forward to seeing you all at Woking’ ground on Tuesday, sorry it’s not at our home ground, although there has been some recent progress on that front, at last! If you would like a drink and or hot food before the game may I recommend visiting Paul at his Snooker Club which is located at the far end of the car park to the left of the ground? Although this is a Private club, Paul welcomes all fans with good beer and food and also has Live Football plus I will be there selling the 50/50 tickets in lieu of any entrance fee, drawn at half time in the ground and it’s only a pound, a BARGAIN! Woking’s club house is very dated and no Sky Sports and as “we” do not receive any income from it, hope you understand why we do not use it! Safe journey to you all and looking forward to an entertaining game.

I see Eastleigh managed 6 against Dorchester. We seem to have lost our mojo in front of goal! ?

More of the same. We drew 0-0 here last season in a game that H&Y seemed happy to take a point from. And so it was tonight. And as at Dorchester on Saturday we failed to break down a hard-working but hardly inspired home defence.
To be fair, H&Y did start brightly this evening and had the better of the early chances. But as the game wore on, and we became more dominant, they resorted increasingly to slowing the game down.
None of us was quite sure how their keeper repeatedly got away with pushing Gavin McCallum in the back at corners. Perhaps the ref, our old friend Mr Coggins, could explain.

H&Y got what they wanted and that was never anything else other then a point. They did have a good first 10mins of the match forcing the again superb Jason into a couple of saves. We grew as the game went on becoming totally dominant in the second half but as Saturday seem to have lost the key to the lock. I think we miss Slabs in these situations when a poacher is required, and I certainly think he would have found us at least one goal in the last 2 games.
I have no idea what the officials were on tonight, there were just simply wrong and helped H&Y's coarse. I think the crowd of 145 with about 80+ U's supporters at Kingfield speaks volumes!

Touch of sour grapes here I think! I personally thought the officials did their jobs very well! Yes I agree it seemed we were happy to play for a point, can you blame us when we are in a relegation fight playing a team trying for the playoffs, with a budget we would die for, I don't think so! Your keeper saved you in the second half with a very, very good save pushing the ball round the woodwork but if your guys up front had done their job, you would have won comfortably but they could not find the net, mainly through headers it seemed. On a different subject I was extremely disappointed by the lack of your fans prepared to invest a pound in the 50/50, you are indeed the meanest in our league so far this and the last two seasons. Your Directors who I met in the Boardroom were not much better, very surprising. Good luck for the rest of the season, and if you do not make promotion, see you in our new ground, don't forget your pound, you could start saving now!

Sounds like we softend up Dorchester's defence nicely for our "friends" at Eastleigh. Well those two results probably mean the title is out of reach barring a collapse or us winning all our remaining games, but we should strive for 2nd place and home advantage.

Your Directors who I met in the Boardroom were not much better, very surprising. We went there to support our team, not your club. Frankly, with the size of crowd you get, the 50-50 is not worth winning.

Well I can not argue with that, it's nice that you and your fellow supporters do no think £70 is worth winning, lucky, lucky you. See you next Season............in this league!

We also have spent a lot of money at our own club lately, so maybe you shouldn't count on visiting supporters...we don't, we dig deep ourselves.

I was unable to get there last night but if I was, I would have almost certainly made the personal choice to buy a 50/50 ticket as I normally buy one of these or a golden goal etc.
However, it would have been my personal choice to do so and I don't think it is helpful to criticise supporters who decide against buying one. I may think twice now about buying one next year if the tone of your criticism is shared by other H&Y supporters (although I would hope it is not).

I don't have a problem with H&Y sticking to a plan to get a point, but its not a one off the same thing happened last season. The bottom line is football is suppose to be entertainment and if you play like that week in week out people are not going to pay to watch. If the 50/50 takings were so low then maybe the club should look at the bigger picture?
